Day 200 ~

Dove ~

Logan and I hung out in the backyard while the rest of the family slept in this morning. It's been awhile since I've seen quail so close up! Pretty cool shot of the moon during the day, one of Logan playing with bubbles and one of a dove.

Second time is a charm!!!




Since I actually typed a lot on my first time of attempting to post this blog, I'm not going to now.

The family and I went out to watch the sunset. Tomorrow I will be posting some pictures of the kiddos during the sunset.

Day 198 ~Reflection

I was on my way up to the top of the backyard to photograph the sunset & I saw this reflection. I think it's pretty cool!

Day 196 ~ Another Moon Shot

I'm not too happy with my attempts to photograph the moon last night. The clouds were amazing around it and I just couldn't figure out the proper settings. This is the best I could come up with!

Day 195 ~Clouds

Great view from our backyard!! I really wish the powerlines weren't to the left of all these shots, the clouds were amazing! I took a few shots of the moon this evening but I was very disappointed that the clouds surrounding it didn't show up, maybe my setting are off. I've been extra emotional lately, I suppose it's just the part of the adjustment. On a good note, my back has been feeling really good!!

Day 194 ~ Storm

We had a crazy thunder & lightning storm yesterday! The wind was blowing, trees were down and quite a few fires started. While driving I felt like I was in the movie Twister. The clouds are building up again today. I'd love to get a shot of lightning, but I'm honestly scared sh*tless of thunder. LOL

Day 193 ~ Itsy Bitsy Spider

Found this little guy, who actually wasn't that itsy. Like most of my shots lately, he isn't very sharp in focus. I don't know if it's too much camera shake or what.

Day 192 ~ My family!

I'm hanging out with my family today!! I'm pretty proud of these photos!! My sister and my nephew are so stinkin' cute! Jaylene and Logan are adorable, if I don't say so myself!!

Day 191 ~ Moon Shot

I'm not sure how exactly I ended up with this weird cropping. This is only the second time I've attempted to photograph the moon.

Day 188 ~

This is a total cheat! I took this last Wednesday.

Jaylene and I are settling in well in our new home. It's been a stressful couple of weeks. I haven't been out yet to take photos, I'm hoping tomorrow. One day at a time to get our life to something we can call normal. I have so much to say but I can't seem to find the words. I know soon enough I will be back on track.

Day 187 ~ Jovita ~My little Niece!

I'm gonna miss this little girl!! Jo Jo is almost 7 months old. For those of you who don't know, Jovita was my birthday present from my bestfriend!! It was a great birthday! She has two teeth, and she is crawling! I'm so glad I've gotten to spend time with all the girls before I leave. I'm going to miss everyone!

Day 186 ~

I couldn't get a great shot of this guy! It isn't very sharp. I think that my 75-300mm lens it loosing up. The barrel seems loose anyhow.

My back is doing okay. Okay, actually it really hurts but there is just so much to do before tomorrow evening, so I don't have time to be a cry baby! I'm finishing up odds and ends around the house, and organizing. What a crazy day! On a good note, it's only 103 degrees! LOL

I won't be posting again until Monday.

Day 185 ~

Day 184 ~And yet again more hummingbirds

I obviously didn't shoot anything yesterday, so I'll have to find a photo for yesterday.
I took these this morning. Not very well focused but they will do! It's going to be awhile before I'm out and about taking photos again. Jaylene and I will be moving back to Reno on Saturday. I was able to get most of the house packed before yesterday's procedure. My Mom and Pops will be here Friday night to load the Uhaul. I wish I could help, but no lifting for me for three weeks. So hopefully by next Monday I'll have new photos to share!

Day 183 ~More hummingbirds

I took this on Monday. I'm not sure what is causing the haze effect. It might be the sun.

My procedure went well. He went too far in on my L4 on my left side and caused a lot of pain, we had to stop for a bit so I could stop crying like a baby. I'm up for a little bit right now and thought I'd catch up on my blogging. Then it's back down I go.

Day 182 ~ HDR from the sunset

I only did one HDR the other night durning the sunset. I did this handheld and I may have had the settings off a little bit.

I have another back procedure tomorrow, I'm not nervous of the unknown, since it's the same one I had last month, but I am nervous because I know how bad it hurts.

I'm glad that my mom will be here to take care of me. The house is a mess and looks like a tornado went through but what can you expect while packing?? LOL

Day 181 ~ My little friend in the pool

My back is really bothering me today...definitely my fault. Cleaning and organizing until 4am this morning and up early to start another room. I'm sure my PT guy isn't going to be happy with me today!
