This is Francis. She's a baby dove that has been hanging around the backyard for almost a week! She lets me get pretty close to her. I'm sure she is lonely. I wish I could pick her up and cuddle her! The other day she hopped down and came right up to my feet and was eating the seed on the ground.

I will bet if you put seed in your hand she would hop on! Lonesome Dove(my favorite movie of all time). Great shots.

ReplyDeleteNo, it's just the way she is holding onto the feeder. She flies and walks around. She just likes the backyard I suppose.
