Make-up days.....

Well I've been sick and I went to Reno on Friday so I am once again behind. All the following pictures I did take on each day. The first one is of my daughter at her Christmas program on Friday the 18th. The next one is of my nephew on his 5th birthday, Saturday the 19th. The last one I took while driving...in the fog and rain on the way back home, Sunday the 20th. I did not take a picture yesterday, I pretty much laid in bed trying to get rid of this cold. So, there isn't a picture for the 21st...sorry. I will work on today's photo a little later. I have some house cleaning to do and laundry. I'm sure I'll need a nap today too..lol!

My Princess

Well as I said before I'm behind. I noticed that Jaylene was (still is) sleeping in my bed. She's tired!! She normally doesn't take a nap after school but she's feeling a little under the weather. So, here's a picture of my not so little anymore princess!!

Old Man is Snoring....

Most of you know that I can't stand extended periods of rain. I need sunshine to live. LOL. So, with all this beautiful rain (yes, I'm being sarcastic) I thought I would attempt to photograph it. Besides, my Pops told me too. I'm sorry I haven't been posting in the morning, but this rain is really getting to me.

Cowboys

I've been a fan of the Cowboys for many years...and I've put up with a lot of crap talking by others. Through the good and the bad they will always be my team! I wish I was there today to watch them play, instead I took a picture of my tv screen...lol So, here's to SUNDAY FOOTBALL!!!

My Favorites

Well...here are my favorite girls!! We have Madysen Lee, Jaylene Anna-Marie, Ashley Rose, and Jovita Rayne. With the weather being so gloomy I didn't go outside much today! So, this is best I could come up with...and if I don't say so myself, it's the best picture I've taken yet!! All my favorites!!

Leaves ~Day 11

I'm not sure if it's the weather or the fact it's Friday. I usually have a picture posted by 11am but today I'm late. I tried feeding the birds, driving around and I couldn't find anything that screamed "take a picture of me". I even took a picture of my toilet and almost posted that. I guess that's just the way I'm feeling today! So enjoy the lame attempt for my photo of the day! Have a great weekend!

Rough Start

I've stepped out of the box with this one. I figured if this is the way my day is going to start I might as well just take a picture of it!

Relaxing

After going out twice this morning and freezing, I staged this shot because the 107 shots beforehand weren't cuttin' it. I have a lot of work to do on my other website and I'm honestly dreading it. So...here is today's picture. Nothing too exciting!

Frozen Heart

I found this heart shaped frost on my car window this morning. I think it's a perfect picture for such a cold day!

Citrus Sweet

I'm actually posting two pictures today....as you can see...

I am blessed to have many fruit trees!! I liked the way the sun was hitting just the one side of the orange. One of the orange and the other is my lonely lemon. It only produced one this year.

Christmas Time

My sister gave me this crystal cross about 6 years ago for Christmas. It is my favorite ornament. I shot this in manual. It took a few tries, okay more than a few, but I'm happy with this one.

Fall Leaves Relaxing

It's Saturday...so this is what I could come up with. I think I need to start raking the leaves! At least the leaves in the hammock are going to be easy to clean up! I can tell that the weekends might be difficult for me!

Day Four ~ Sunrise

I knew this morning was going to bring a beautiful sunrise. I grabbed Jaylene with her bowl of cereal in hand and jumped into the car to drive up the street. I honestly wasn't too happy about any of the shots. Jaylene said to me, "Mom, that's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, thank you!" So, even though I may not be happy with today's photo, spending those 15 minutes with her watching the sunrise was all worth it!

Cattails

I drove Jaylene to school today and took my camera with me. I'm trying to use it as a purse and take it every where. I had a few pictures to choose from today, Cattails, the moon and a Great Egret. Since Theresa likes cattails I went with that picture!! I'm not sure on the lighting. I took a few with the flash and then turned it off. I realize that some may not like the poster board effect but I figured since I started this project using it, I will continue. I will be adding more pictures to my main website, hopefully today. Confused Flowers...

Well...along with my roses that are still blooming, my lilac tree is also blooming. All my flowers and trees are confused! Suprisingly, I was wearing shorts yesterday while hanging the Christmas lights and this morning we have frost! Out of 67 shots this one is my favorite. Two days down....363 to go! I am really enjoying this challenge! Let's hope I keep up the enthusiasm!!!

December Rose

While I was scrambling to get Jaylene ready for school this morning I was able to get some pretty nice pictures of the sunrise. What really caught my eye were my roses that are still blooming!! In December!! I have been working in Photoshop Elements 7, basically teaching myself. This is the first time I have ever completed this type of layout. I am actually really impressed. I seem to have issues following directions and I do get frustrated. LOL So I hope you enjoy this picture!

I'm thinking of ideas for what to shoot tomorrow!!
