Day 229~

Went to the Truckee River the other day! I had an amazing time taking photos!!! It was great to be out again! This is the one and only HDR image that I took. I really like it!!!

Day 227 ~ Eclispe

Day 226 ~ Christmas Tree

Chris got me a 50mm lens for my birthday. It also came with the sweetest card. To sum it up, he reminded me I'm a great photographer, and not to give up on my passion for it. I am honored and glad that even though we are getting divorced we are still able to remain friends and we both have a lot of love for eachother. Sometimes, it's better off to just be friends.

The photo seems a little dark. I'll have to work on perfecting the use of this lens. It's odd not being able to change the distance!

Day 225 ~ White Birthday!

I had a really great birthday!!! It's also snowing! Whiskey has never seen snow before. I can't wait until the morning so I can take some more photos!

I have my second procedure on my back on Tuesday. I can't wait until this is all finished and I can finally be pain free! They did the right side last Tuesday and I can already feel a difference. I go back to work tomorrow and Monday and then back in bed after Tuesday.

Day 222~ Fall

Life is what you make of it. Most recently I have made my life pretty shitty. It's time for my climb back up after hitting rock bottom. The choices I have made lately have been an eye opener. I have hurt the ones I love. It has made me really take a step back to reevaluate my life. I've always said that everything happens for a reason, I will only become a better person from here on out. I love and truely appreciate my family, I am grateful to be surrounded by amazing people. To my family, I am deeply sorry and I love you all.

Day 220~

Wow! I am so behind!
I miss taking pictures everyday, it seems to bring me to life....I get so excited but lately I'm just so tired. I managed to take a few pictures today and yesterday.






If I'm not working I'm sleeping, doing laundry or spending NOT enough time with my daughter. I've been thinking about changing my schedule. I see J for about an hour in the morning and if I'm lucky 30 minutes in the afternoon.

Day 219 ~ Francis our Dove

This is Francis. She's a baby dove that has been hanging around the backyard for almost a week! She lets me get pretty close to her. I'm sure she is lonely. I wish I could pick her up and cuddle her! The other day she hopped down and came right up to my feet and was eating the seed on the ground.

I'm not sure why I have such a hard time converting to black and white but they never seem to be crisp enough!

Day 216 ~ Roses

Well I haven't gotten out much with my camera lately. I'm still adjusting to this schedule.

Jaylene and I didn't make it to Redding/Salyer this weekend due to money issues but we had a great time hanging out. I think I've finally got the hang of Monopoly! After Jaylene jipped me out of $400 by not telling me I get money after I pass "GO"! LOL

I hope to make it a regular scheduled thing to do this every morning when I'm getting Jaylene ready for school. It's the taking the photos I'm having an issue with, I have to get out of this house more often than just to and from work!!! There has been a red tail hawk hanging around my parents house and I'd love to get a shot of him with my camera. I took a pretty good one with my moms camera. Autumn is my favorite time of year and I can't wait until the leaves start changing!!!!!!! Hopefully soon I will get it together and remember that photography is my passion and I have definitely missed it this last month!

Day 214 ~ Seriously behind in blogging!!

Wow! I am so behind!! I started my new job two weeks ago and I have been having a hard time adjusting to the swing schedule. I am really enjoying my job!! I actually ♥♥♥ it!! I have Sunday and Monday's off, and my sister has Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off so our family will be helping out on the weekends and on Tuesday with the kids. We are very lucky to have such an amazing support system!!

Here are the last photos I've taken, I haven't even picked up my camera in over two weeks! Ugh, I miss it!

Today is Jaylene's first day of the 5th grade!!! Crazy. Where has the time gone? She is so excited! I can't wait to hear about her day. I plan on taking a lot of photos of her this morning, I'm sure I will be embarrassing her but that's what moms are for!! HAHAHA!

I promise once I'm use to this new schedule I will be updating the days I've missed and also commenting on everyone's blog!

Day 213 ~ Looking up

Almost a month in Reno and things are starting to look up!!! I got a job!! I start on Thursday! Swing shift in the cash cage at a casino!

Yesterday I went to the spine surgeon, I will be having another MRI and being seen by another specialist. I will be having spinal nerve cauterization. Hopefully this will help with the constant pain.

Last week my sister and I took the kids to Lake Tahoe. It was so beautiful! I hadn't been there since Jaylene was around 3! We had a blast on the jet ski! Yes, obviously not one of my smartest moves with my back but the kids said it was the best day ever!!!
