Day 30

If anyone would like to tell me how to get CR2 file name to open up in either Bridge or Photoshop I'd really appreciate it. I'm really confused..shocker. Right now my camera uploads directly into Elements 7 and I want to start using CS2. I can't seem to figure it out.

Took a couple pictures of the dogs while there was a break in the rain. Lucky was on a roll trying to get the gopher, and Whiskey stood there watching. It was actually pretty funny! At one point they both had their heads in the holes they dug. The other is of a tree that every day intrigues me, I'm not sure why. Maybe the way the light hits the green moss just for a split second, I don't know! LOL

Had to add this one..super funny!

Day 29 ~Cheat day...AGAIN..

Okay! I'm sorry. I have just been too busy to get out and shoot anything new. Plus, it's raining..AGAIN! I've been working on pricing for the Art Hop...which I'm totally lost! I don't want to charge too much and I also don't want to sell myself short. The 11x14 framed and matted photos turned out great!!! I'm so happy with them!

Here's a picture of the moon I took Saturday night. It's my first ever of the moon!

Day 28~Cheat Day

Yesterday Mary and I were really busy finishing up choosing which pictures will be displayed in the Art Hop. We were on our way to Crown Camera, a local printing store to get my larger prints done. We stopped by HDR Imaging to see if they had any extra mats they were going to throw away.

We ended up staying there for about an hour and a half. I was able to get two 11x14's for less than what Crown Camera was going to charge me for one!!! He even let me watch as he "fixed" my editing issues! LOL All my pictures were printed right then and I didn't have to wait 4 days to get them back. He's even going to put them in the frames that I already bought!

I will be showing seven 8x10's, eight 5x7's mounted on foam board, two 11x14's matted and framed in a 16X20. I thought I would show you one of the 11x14 prints, which I have to say looks awesome!!!

Day 27 ~Old Lady

After a long day of cleaning, laundry and trying to give the baby fish a new home I didn't really feel up to taking a picture. So this is what I found while dusting!

I think I got this at an auction. I've had it for many years. She hangs out on my dresser. I really don't know much about it. Her poor nose is broken.. :( other than that I think she's in pretty good shape. I'm not sure who is on the button either.

Day 26

The girls call every squirrel "Sandy" from Sponge Bob. So here are some pictures of Sandy!

Somehow I've messed up on my counting. I'm pretty sure today is number 26, should be 27 but I didn't do a photo on Friday. Oh well....

Day 25

It was so beautiful outside today! I was able to get a lot of yard work finished. Fun times! Getting ready for another rainy week!

Jovita is 2 months and 11 days old today. She and I were laying on the trampoline hanging out and soaking up the rays. I decided to try to take some pictures of her while she was awake and smiling!

These are the best two. I'm still only shooting in AV and I've started playing around with the white balance fuction. I figure I will stick with AV for a couple more weeks.

This next week will be a busy one for me. I will try to keep up with my daily photos, even if it's just pictures of me pulling my hair out..lol. I'm getting ready for Art Hop and I need to have my list of what works will be displayed turned in by Wednesday and I'm still trying to figure all that out. I will be doing the set up on Feb 9th. I'm really excited!!!

Me & My Guy Dance ~Day 24

Jaylene and Chris went to the Me & My Guy Dance at school this evening. I am so happy with these pictures. I have a beautiful family!!! Jaylene looks so gorgeous! I couldn't be prouder!

If I could change anything it would be to make the background a solid white. I did make them retake some pictures without the stuff on the mantel.

All shot in RAW and edited in PS Elements. Wooo hoo I'm getting the hang of this! Portraits are not my strong suit but I like these!

Sorry I missed yesterday's picture of the day....I needed a break from the computer and editing! I definately don't like feeling burnt out on something I'm so passionate about..a break was needed!!!

They were both getting tired of me saying "Just ONE more".....lol
