Day 53 ~ Blackberry picture

What a great day!! Jaylene and I painted our toe nails, played with moon sand and hung out in the sun!! My bestfriend Nichole came over with her girls for tri-tip, asparagus and some Arbor Mist...our new favorite! Great food and a wonderful family!!! ♥ it!!!!

Day 52 ~Magnolia Tree

Well even though I'm thirty, when my mom tells me to do something...the majority of the time I listen . She told me to get out and take my picture of the day, so I did.

My neighbor has this beautiful magnolia tree in her yard. I'm not sure why after two years I've never seen it until recently. The blooms are just opening up. It smells wonderfully sweet.

Day 51 Yet another cheat..sorry

I'm missing the sun! It rained so much today! YUCK! I didn't get out to take a picture and I was busy making a new dish...Chicken Tortilla Soup in the crockpot. Which I have to say was YUMMY! We enjoyed a great evening with friends.

Day 50 ~Cheater Cheater (reminds me of that new country song)

I'm pulling the cheat card again today. After washing three extra large dogs and cleaning up the mess I'm beat! At least my boys are clean! LOL

I was playing around with CS2 and I changed a apricot blossom into sepia color. Nothing too interesting but it's something I've never done. I still haven't fully jumped into CS2 and I'm using mostly PS Elements 7.

Almost two weeks into having my photos displayed in the Discovery Shop and I've had 860 hits on my website! That's a start. I've sold one. :)

Day 49 ~ Dinner

I was starving so I didn't spend much time trying to get the best shot!!! Here's dinner, Rice A Roni with chicken and broccoli added, sauteed mushrooms and white corn. Yummy!!!

Day 48 ~

I wish my car and house weren't in the background. It's suppose to start raining soon so I went out and took this, obviously without much thought. I should have shot it from a different angle.

Day 47 ~ Homemade

This is my favorite dish!! My Mom use to make this for us and now I make it for my family! I usually make one large dish and then a smaller one, in hopes it will last a couple days! Since I'm watching my DVR'd shows today I thought my homemade mac n' cheese would be a great picture! If anyone wants the recipe let me know. Just to warn you it is a bit greasy! Maybe using low fat cheese would help!

Day 45 ~ Hydrangea blooms

I didn't make it outside today, I am on a mission to have all the laundry finished so I don't have to do it tomorrow! That's what happens when it's nice outside, I ignore my housewife duties throughout the week and hang outside!! My hydrangeas are starting to grow!! It's too bad that the last owners didn't plant them in the right spot, the summer heat of 112 fries them!

I get to look forward to rain for the next week so it's time to get creative.

This was a nice hike that Lucky and I took today. It runs right along the Sacramento River and the railroad tracks. It was a much better hike than I experienced on Tuesday! No wonder they call it the Garden of Eden. I could spend all day here!

Day 42

Day 41 ~ Montgomery Creek

It was so nice out today I headed to Montgomery Creek to hike to the Roaring Creek falls which are suppose to be the best in the winter months. Needless to say, I hiked down 2 miles in the wrong direction!! LOL Okay, not really funny as I was cursing myself for not getting two sets of directions. I was about 100 feet above the falls. I could hear them and see parts of it but I couldn't figure out how to get to the bottom without having a heart attack. On the hike back up I was praying for a search and rescue team to air lift me out and cursing yet again that I really should quit smoking!!! (Which I will be doing soon...promise!) I did get some great shots of Mt. Shasta and a few of the Roaring Creek Falls, one really good one of the fall coming out on the side of the road!!! LOL

Day 40 ~

I took these when we went up to Salyer CA. I worked out on the backyard today since it was so beautiful. Tomorrow is suppose to be even nicer, with a high of 72!! I'm hope I can maybe go for a hike. I definately will be taking more photos now that Art Hop is over.

I watch Jovita the other day. I was able to get a couple shots, this one was on the portrait setting. I just cropped it, didn't do much to it. She's doesn't look too impressed with me, huh? LOL

Day 37 ~Who needs a house plant.....

When one will grow from the outside!! I was cleaning up the spare bedroom for my Mom's visit and I found this growing in the window sill. Pretty cool! I know I will have to cut this out soon before it ruins the whole window but for now it is my only house plant!

Wow...I'm behind. I still haven't uploaded my camera. Sorry! These pictures are old...I'd say about 5 years ago. I promise starting Sunday I will take more pictures!!!

Day 35 ~ Cheat from two weeks ago!

Okay. So I'm cheating again. I did take some pictures today of Jovita but I just haven't uploaded them from my camera. I've had a long day! So, I did a little edited to some pictures I took when I went to Mt. Shasta (1/28/2010). This is Castle Crags. I would like to get a better shot of all of the mountain sometime soon. It's not the sharpest picture, but it printed out nicely.

Day 33~ Palm Trees

I was trying to get a good picture of Mt. Shasta from my backyard but I decided that my daughter Jaylene was a better subject!!! She is such a ham!

Day 31 ~ Little Sprout talking alarm clock

I've had this clock since I was little, for about 25 years. It still works!! He is missing an arm! I found a lady online who also has this clock with a missing arm, which has the arm I need!! LOL

He says "It is time to get up, as we say in the valley, have a ho, hootle lot of fun today."

He now hangs out in my daughters room. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!!!
